Amalgamation Voting Notice

It has been agreed that the amalgamation vote between Dundalk Minor Hockey and Flesherton Minor Hockey Associations, will take place on Wednesday February 26th at 7:30 pm. There will be an information session followed by the vote. The voting location for DMHA families will be held at the Frank MacIntyre building. The voting location for FMHA families will be held at the Kinplex. In the upcoming weeks amalgamation committee members will be meeting with individual teams to provide brief and informal information meetings regarding amalgamation. 

If you are unsure of where you should be voting or if you get a vote please see below...

1. My home center is not Dundalk or Flesherton but my child has or is playing in the center since they started hockey. Answer: No, you are only eligible to a vote if Dundalk or Flesherton is your primary center, primary centers are based on residency

 2. I don’t have a child that plays minor hockey but am a Municipality and Township  tax payer, am I eligible to vote? Answer: No, only primary members of either DMHA or FMHA are entitled to a vote.   

3. My child was released from my home center (Dundalk) to play in Flesherton this season, where do I vote? Answer: You are eligible to vote in Dundalk only.

   My child was released from my home center (Flesherton) to play in Dundalk this season, where do I vote? Answer: You are eligible to vote in Flesherton only.

4. My child does not play in either center, but is in a LL only center. Since this is my next nearest Rep Center, am I eligible to vote? Answer: No, you are not eligible to vote as your child is not a Primary member. 
   
5. I live in a Right of Choice area,with a signed Right of Choice agreement for either Dundalk or Flesherton, am I eligible to vote? Answer: Yes, on a Right of Choice agreement you would be able to vote in the center that the right of choice agreement is signed for. Dundalk Or Flesherton.

6. My child is playing A, AA, AAA. Answer: Yes, you  are eligible to vote in your Primary center provided that you went to A, AA, AAA zone with Passport/Permission to Skate. 

7. My child is playing in an Outlaw League this season. Answer: You are not eligible to a vote.
